A pedestrian died after being hit by a car and SUV in Gresham on Tuesday, police say.
The crash was reported a little after 7:30 p.m. near Southeast Division Street and 179th Avenue, said Officer Ben Costigan, a Gresham police spokesman. He said an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash, but it appears the pedestrian was hit by one of the vehicles while crossing the street and then hit by the other.
The pedestrian has not yet been identified, Costigan said. Both drivers remained at the scene. Costigan said he didn't yet have more details on the crash.
