Laurence Fishburne reaches divorce deal with Gina Torres

Actor Laurence Fishburne and his estranged wife Gina Torres are expecting a swift divorce after reaching an agreement on the separation of assets.

The "Suits" actress confirmed her 15-year marriage to Fishburne was over in a statement issued in September, after she was photographed kissing former real estate executive Kevin Wright during a lunch date at a cafe in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, Fishburne filed court papers to officially end their union, citing "irreconcilable differences", and now it's been revealed he also made it clear they had already decided on how they would split their shared assets, TMZ.com first reported.

"The parties have entered into an agreement in disposition of property which will be submitted for approval," reads the paperwork, which also lists their date of separation as October 14, 2016.

Fishburne is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 10-year-old daughter Delilah, while he has requested they each be banned from requesting spousal support.

Fishburne is a regular on the ABC show "Blackish" and stars in the new movie, "Last Flag Flying," which was released in theaters on Friday.
