“Baywatch,” “The Emoji Movie,” “Fifty Shades Darker,” “The Mummy,” and “Transformers: The Last Knight” have been nominated as “worst picture” for the 38th annual Golden Raspberry Awards.

The nominees for the mock awards show were unveiled on Monday, a day before the Academy Awards nominations, with a video called “how to protect humanity from toxic waste.” Winners will be announced on March 3, the day before the Oscars ceremony.

“Welcome to the 38th Razzie Nominees,” the announcement said. “Simply defined, Razzie hazardous waste is material with properties that make it dangerous or capable of having a harmful effect on human health or the environment.”

The fifth “Transformers” movie, called “Transformers Xvii: The Last Knight” in the announcement, led the pack with seven noms, including worst picture, worst actor for Mark Wahlberg, worst supporting actor for Josh Duhamel, worst supporting Actress for Laura Haddock, and worst director for Michael Bay.

After taking responsibility for the epic best picture flub at the Oscars last year, Tim Ryan of PwC got down to business. He grilled the partners who made the gaffe, then personally reached out to the dozens of people affected by it: The show's producers, presenters and stage managers, as well as the filmmakers behind La La Land and Moonlight.

“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” was the big film winner at the SAG Awards Sunday with trophies for best ensemble cast, best actress for Frances McDormand for portraying a grieving mother and best supporting actor for Sam Rockwell.

Gary Oldman, meanwhile, won the best actor in a film award for his performance as Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour.” “I am so deeply honored and proud to win this magnificent award,” a clearly moved Oldman said.

Oldman said back stage that he was savoring the recognition, adding, “My feeling is enjoy the moment. It will be someone else standing up here next year.”

Oldman won the trophy over Timothee Chalamet for “Call Me by Your Name,” James Franco for “The Disaster Artist,” Daniel Kaluuya for “Get Out,” and Denzel Washington for “Roman Israel Esq.” Franco, who was recently accused by five women of sexually exploitative behavior, attended the ceremonies.

Selina Meyer’s reelection campaign won’t get underway until next year.

According to Veep‘s Matt Walsh, the Emmy-winning comedy’s seventh and final season is expected to begin production in August, once star Julia Louis-Dreyfus has had enough time to recuperate after undergoing chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. As such, the series’ swan song is not expected to premiere before 2019.

“We’ll start filming in August and it will air in 2019,” Walsh told EW.com. “We’ve seen [Julia], she’s done some table reads [and] she’s doing well.”

Rumors abound that the first Solo trailer is dropping this week. There has been much fanfare over the second Star Wars Story, most of it not good. And there have been a lot of behind-the-scenes images, mostly shared by director Ron Howard. One leaked image clearly shows a taxidermied Ewok behind a glass case. Though it's highly suspect whether or not the Ewok, or others like it will show up in the movie. It's definitely there on set. But we might be looking at one of the many deleted scenes that will forever go unwatched in the Lucasfilm vault.

Director Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit) is making a documentary film about World War I that will premiere at the London Film Festival this fall and also air on the BBC.

The documentary, which doesn't have a title yet, will use original, archive footage from Britain's Imperial War Museums and audio from the BBC archives.

TNT has parted ways with Josh Friedman, the showrunner of the TV adaptation of “Snowpiercer,” Variety has learned exclusively.

Friedman was an executive producer on the project and wrote the pilot, which was shot last year. “Snowpiercer” was ordered to series by TNT earlier this month. A source close to the network cited creative differences as the reason.

The series, based on the 2014 Bong Joon Ho film, takes place seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland and centers on a small band of people who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. Jennifer Connelly stars as Melanie Cavill, an important first-class passenger and leader who is fascinated by the less fortunate riders on the train. The “Snowpiercer” cast also includes Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Susan Park, Benjamin Haigh, Sasha Frolova, Katie McGuinness, Alison Wright, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand and Lena Hall.

Solidifying its status as a worldwide hit, Sony’s “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” has won the international box office for the fourth consecutive weekend with $32.6 million at 14,800 screens in 93 markets.

The action-comedy has hit $450 million internationally to go along with its $317 million domestic total. The global total has reached $767.8 million, making “Jumanji” 80th on the all-time worldwide list.
