The Seattle Mariners are reportedly getting into the "bug food" business this season and plan to sell toasted grasshoppers to fans as ballpark food this season at Safeco Field.
According to a report from Darren Rovell of ESPN, the Mariners have partnered with Mexican restaurant Poquitos, who will run a stand behind the outfield wall at Safeco where they plan to offer the toasted grasshoppers as a food option for fans attending games. a cup of the grasshoppers will sell for $4 and can be eaten straight up, or used as a garnish on tacos.
