We’re changing the conversation about the war on drugs and bringing about a new world of opportunities for drug policy reform. There is now, for the first time, a critical mass of support that ensures that this burgeoning debate will no longer be suppressed. Yet we still have a long way to go, as the war on drugs remains entrenched and codified in a complex web of policies in every state and locality, at the federal level, and even globally. DPA is stronger and more effective than ever before, but we have a long way to go before we can claim victory in the struggle for drug policies grounded in science, compassion, health and human rights.
