History

Informa was formed in December 1998 by the merger of IBC Group plc and LLP (Lloyd’s of London Press). But many of our brands pre-date this and the first version of our oldest brand, Lloyd's List, was published in 1734.

Through a series of strategic acquisitions, we are today a truly international business, with over 7,500 colleagues serving customers in hundreds of specialist communities worldwide.
