Vote for Oregon's worst restaurant name (poll)

When it comes to groan-worthy restaurant names, Oregon has nothing to be ashamed of.

Or, perhaps, a lot.

Just look at Eater National's recent survey of America's worst, a field of 32 unfortunate names -- Wrench & Rodent Seabasstropub, a(Muse.), Blunch -- that featured not one but two Portland restaurants. One of those, The Hairy Lobster, made it all the way to the Eek Eight.

We could quibble with their picks, especially Portland's other entry, Sweedeedee, a fine name for a fine brunch spot taken from an even finer song from Portland folk singer Michael Hurley. Instead, we're working together to pick the state's truly awful restaurant names.

Below, find a poll featuring all the awful restaurant names submitted by our readers via comments, email and social media over the past two weeks.

Remember, this is all about the name, not the branding, food or quality of the restaurant. (Southern Oregon slow-food destination New Sammy's Cowboy Bistro might be a mouthful of a name, but it the restaurant itself is pretty great.) And in a last minute switcheroo, we've decided to include restaurants such as The Groaning Board and Husky or Maltese Whatever that have closed, but will live on forever through their terrible names.

Vote early and vote often. The poll stays open through Monday. We'll name Oregon's worst-ever restaurant names next week.
