Hunter Schwarz is a political reporter for CNN, co-author of CNN Politics COVER/LINE, and co-host of the CNN Politics COVER/LINE podcast.

Previously, Schwarz was a reporter for the Independent Journal Review, Washington Post, BuzzFeed and the Deseret News. Before covering politics in Washington, Schwarz was based in Los Angeles where he reported on the entertainment industry, celebrities, and the politics and policy of Hollywood.

Schwarz graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in journalism.
