Agenda
We kept all the things that made 2016’s event the highest-rated in Forbes history: a welcome reception with regional food and drink, a bar crawl through historic venues, incredible panels, a music festival at the Tower of David, and more. But, we also took it to the next level this year, with exciting new elements including an opening ceremony at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, an epic hike up Masada, a recovery and spa day at the Dead Sea, and more.

Opening Reception: The Under 30 Food Festival – A Taste of Israel (Tel Aviv Beach)
The Forbes Under 30 Summit welcomes attendees at a fitting location–at the beach, on the water, as the sun sets over the Mediterranean. From our own private pavilion, we’ve brought the best tastes of Israel to you—the most legendary versions of falafel, shawarma, hummus and other local favorites, from the chefs that usually prompt locals to line up for an hour. Beach entertainment will go on long into the night.
-
Tel Aviv’s Old Train Station (HaTachana)
Building on last year’s successful entrepreneur-driven programming and lounge, Monday’s content will expand into a daylong celebration of innovation and startups.
Our specific mission today: using innovation to reimagine humanity. While much of the world bickers over ideology and tactics, audacious thinkers are tackling some of the globe’s most pressing problems by pursuing ideas that seem to border on science fiction. We’ll hear from visionaries–entrepreneurs, artists, activists and inventors–shaping the future in powerful ways. We have the tools and technologies to create a better world, if we can muster the comity and the will.

Jerusalem Venture Partners Campus (walkable or a quick Gett from the hotels)
From autonomous cars to biotech to edtech to clean energy, Israel boasts some of the most innovative startups in the world. The country’s largest venture capital firm, Jerusalem Venture Partners, brings the top entrepreneurs in each of these areas to its beautiful Jerusalem campus for a day to work with Under 30 participants to harness their cutting-edge technologies for the betterment of society. After an inspirational overview and lunch, we’ll showcase a new, breakthrough, startup-driven technology for each sector– groups will then work on ways to apply that technology to make a larger societal impact, with an eye on those less fortunate. We’ll present our breakthroughs on-stage later in the day at the Under 30 Summit at the Tower of David.
-
Track 2: Palestinian Entrepreneurship (Our bus to Rawabi departs at 10:00)
Palestinian entrepreneurs are creating a path towards prosperity and co-existence, and Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees will accelerate that. We’ll travel by bus to the new Palestinian city of Rawabi, which has been designed as a startup capital. There, we’ll hear from Palestinian entrepreneurs, showcase a few of the Summit’s more experienced founders, and then break into groups of common interests to establish relationships–whether mentorships or partnerships or possible investment–that can accelerate this force for good.
-
Track 3: Uncovering The Ancient Past: A New Archeological Dig (Our bus to the dig departs at 10:30)
Khirbet El Rai is a newly discovered archaeological site, which dates back roughly 3,000 years to the Kingdom of Judah. It holds the keys to some of the biggest questions of civilization–specifically, the historical and geographical accuracy of the Biblical record. This location may provide insights and answers about the formation of the Kingdom of Judah. Over lunch, two renowned archeologists will lay out the opportunity that lies underneath us. We’ll then divide into groups and excavate–supervisors will immediately explain the relevancy of whatever we dig up.
*Note: You must wear closed shoes. If you come in sandals, you cannot participate.
*Recommended: water bottle, hat, sunscreen, t-shirts/long pants -
