The 2017 NBA Finals MVP arrived in India this week to donate basketball courts and coach some of its top players. He also made set a Guinness World Record.

Durant and 3,459 Indian children from the Reliance Foundation Jr. NBA program set a record for the world’s largest basketball lesson (multiple venues) ever held, according to The Crossover from Sports Illustrated.

In an interview with ESPN last week, Durant said he is excited to promote basketball in India.

"I've wanted to visit India for a long time, and I can't wait to experience the country's unique culture and share my knowledge with the kids there,” Durant said.
