These once-classic baby names are at risk of going extinct
A lot goes into naming a baby, but with all the interesting, unique names that are popping up nowadays thanks to pop culture many of the names that were once classics are at risk of going extinct.
According to a list released by BabyCenter, some names like Rhonda or Homer are getting booted out of the picking for more modern names like Emma or Liam.

While not quite extinct yet, there are several more somewhat-common names that are dropping quickly in popularity such as Gwen, Kate or Savanna for girls and Alec, Colin or Shane for boys.
These names can sound dated, but if you're looking for a unique, uncommon name for your baby, picking from this list is a good place to start.
