Do you want the Portland Trail Blazers to trade for Carmelo Anthony?

Carmelo Anthony continues to make headlines in the NBA as the New York Knicks try to find a way to move their star player and move forward with a rebuild of the team.

While rumors indicate that Anthony would be willing to waive his no-trade clause if a deal took him to a contender such as the Houston Rockets or Cleveland Cavaliers, the Portland Trail Blazers continue to make their case as star guards Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum have been openly campaigning for his services.

Do the Trail Blazers have enough assets to convince New York to make a deal. And if they do, would Anthony be willing to join forces with Portland's young core and do battle in a stacked Western Conference?

Even if Anthony waived his no-trade clause to help facilitate a deal, there could be some concern on the Blazers side that he would only be coming to Portland as a rental. Anthony has two years remaining on his deal, but holds a player option for the 2018-19 season. Even if he finds success in Portland, Anthony could decide to opt out of his deal and bolt for another team just one year after arriving in Rip City.

Is it worth the risk for the Trail Blazers? What should they give up to get a deal done, and is Carmelo Anthony even the best fit in Portland? You tell us.
