On Monday, we asked our readers to vote for the restaurant they thought was the best inexpensive restaurant in the Portland area. After two days of voting, the results are in.

10. Laughing Planet
Coming in at No. 10 is Laughing Planet, the health-conscious, Portland-based restaurant chain that has more than 15 locations in five cities across Oregon and Nevada.

9. Little Big Burger
This fast-casual burger chainlet from Micah Camden and Katie Poppe (Blue Star Donuts, Boxer Ramen) with locations across Portland came in ninth place in our People's Choice poll. In August 2015, Chanticleer Holdings, the company that owns Hooters of America, purchased Little Big Burger for $6.1 million.

Teote, a Venezuelan food cart turned friendly neighborhood restaurant, tied for 8th place with burger spot Killer Burger. The highlight here are the arepas, deep-fried masa frisbees, sliced longways.
