We're back for another installment of The Oregonian/OregonLive's high school athlete of the week ...

Aiden Stenkamp, Mazama boys track and field: Stenkamp became Oregon's overall leader in the discus throw after he launched a throw of 184 feet, 3 inches during the Petersen Memorial Invitational on Saturday in Winston.

Ty Hampton, North Bend boys track and field: The Petersen Memorial Invitational had another athlete take over the state's top spot in an event, and that was Hampton in the javelin. Hampton fired it 193 feet, 8 inches to land on top of the Oregon marks chart.

Abbey Schreiber, Brookings-Harbor girls track and field: More fun at the Petersen Memorial Invitational happened for Schreiber, who soared 11 feet, 7 inches in the pole vault to turn in Oregon's best height so far this season.

Who should be The Oregonian/OregonLive's athlete of the week for March 27-April 2?

Camille Weaver, Summit girls track and field: Cornett moved into second on the Class 5A marks list with a personal best in the high jump of 5 feet, 4 1/4 inches during the Summit Heptathlon/Decathlon on Saturday in Bend.

Hayden Vandehey, Banks baseball: Vandehey gave Lebanon all kinds of trouble at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs in Banks' 7-2 win April 28.

Sam Booth, Putnam baseball: Booth was a one-man wrecking crew for the Kingsmen on March 30 against Fairview, Colo. Booth was 3-for-3 with two doubles, a triple, two walks and five RBIs to help his club win a wild 16-14 contest.

Ananya Koneti, Westview softball: Koneti led the Wildcats to an 11-5 win over Class 5A The Dalles with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate with two doubles and two RBIs.

Kathryn Bradford, The Dalles softball: Even though the Riverhawks fell 11-5 to Westview, Bradford did all she could. She went 4-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBIs against the Wildcats. She was the only The Dalles player to have more than one hit in the contest.

If you have somebody to nominate for next week's athlete of the week poll, send your nomination to sports@oregonian.com for consideration. Please include name, grade, school, sport and accomplishments of the athlete in the email.
