BRADEN LENZY BIDS FOR SPRINT TRIPLE
Tigard junior Braden Lenzy is best known for his exploits in football – he has committed to Notre Dame as an athlete – but he is just as impressive on the track. He is bidding to become the first to win the 100, 200 and 400 meters in the big-school track meet since Churchill’s Jordan Kent did it in 2002. He is the reigning champion in the 400, where he has the state’s best time this season at 48.70.
