HILLSBORO -- Three football players, a baseball and soccer player were honored Wednesday during a National Signing Day ceremony at Liberty High School.
John Barnes, a third-team all-Metro League wide receiver in 2016, will continue playing football at NAIA Southern Oregon. Ian Jones and Nick Tsolak will be teammates for even longer, but will move the party down Highway 8 to Pacific University in Forest Grove.
Mia Castaneda will join the women's soccer team at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., and Blake Crippen will play baseball for Lane Community College.
