For Grants Pass, it’s all about defense. The Cavemen lose seven starters on defense, including all-league cornerbacks Jerin Appling (who will play at Portland State) and Cameron Castle. They will also be without all three starting defensive linemen, as well as two-time first-team all-Southwest Conference linebacker Jake Kasiah. Offensively, they’ll miss running back Alexander Jarvis, but do return nine starters.
