Parking

All parking places at the University require a paid permit. There is limited space for parking on the campuses. The parking places are controlled by the City of Tampere’s parking control.

As of 1 September 2016, the University of Tampere started to offer staff and students a new outsourced parking service. A company called IGL Technologies Oy is now in charge of the parking arrangements.

Staff and students can get a parking permit via an online system. More information on the parking arrangements is available in the intranet.

People visiting the University’s main campus can park their cars in the two-hour parking places in front of the Atalpa (address Ratapihankatu 55) and Pinni B buildings (address Kanslerinrinne 1). Visitors can also use the parking garages close by.
