Tampere3
Tampere University of Technology, University of Tampere, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences have joined forces in order to develop a new kind of mode of operation in the Finnish higher education.
The aim of the Tampere3 process is to establish an inspiring and globally attractive environment for research and learning, which benefits from multidisciplinary interfaces and draws interest and has a high impact in both Finland and internationally.
The new university will provide a unique hub for the interdisciplinary research on the economy, technology, health and society.
The high-quality education will enable students to have new kinds of flexible study paths and to earn versatile degrees that will serve the needs of the working life and science.
The Tampere3 project is being prepared in cooperation with the Ministry for Education and Culture.
