The Buzz: For a moment there I thought comic relief in the form of Steve Zahn's character, Bad Ape, might derail what's proved to be one of the strongest movie trilogies ever made, but advanced reviews from a few friends who have seen Matt Reeves' final Apes installment agree with the journalists who have said that the picture deserves a Special Achievement Oscar.

The Buzz: The studio behind this horror movie is having myriad distribution issues so hopefully Joey King, who already survived The Conjuring, has one wish left in that evil octagon she was gifted. Barb from "Stranger Things" and Audrey from "Twin Peaks" help ramp up the mystery factor.

The Buzz: Real-life married couple Emily V. Gordon and Kumail Nanjiani turn their real-world health/relationship crisis into one of the more anticipated romantic comedies of the year, and this weekend the movie goes into wide release, hoping to capitalize on the wave of popular and critical praise.
