Maps[edit]

If you are interested in maps for rivers or whatever, there is a WP group that makes them for you. See [[Category:Wikipedians interested in mapmaking]] for an idea. I am sure they have a "WP:Project page" but I don't have time to research that much as I am quite busy in real life. Of course, if you want to learn yourself how to make them, then you may still need to get some direction from one of the guys there. I believe you need to get datasets for the locale in question and then the software of course. Think the datasets are available (free?) from the USGS office. Hi. It's good to be busy and thanks for the information. I didn't know about them. I think that's a good idea and I'll search them out. BTW, I already downloaded some datasets but I'm not sure I'll get much further than that.--Level C (talk) 00:54, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
