Draft Christopherbochmann[edit]

I am writing because I do not understand what I can do prove "notability". My daughter prepared the draft because I am not sufficiently computer-literate do do so myself.

Among the various characteristics that are mentioned in the article she prepared, there are the following:

- Director of the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa from 1995-2001 (principal music academy in Portugal) - Director of the School of the Art of the University of Évora 2009-2017 - Resident conductor of the Orquestra Sinfónica Juvenil since 1984. - Recipient of an O.B.E., 2005 - Recipient of Medal of Cultural Merit (Portugal), 2004 ....among other things.

To this I now can add that a book on my compositions edited last year with articles by some of the top musicologists in Portugal.

I am at a loss to know what I should do be recognised as notable.

Please would you help/advise me?

I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Careful[edit]

In late 2017, you declined the draft for the article on B-Kool on the grounds that it was "not yet shown to meet notability guidelines". Regardless of whether you would credit him with a Juno win for 1991 (where it went to a group of which he was part), he did get a Juno nomination for solo work in 1994. This information was in the draft at the time you declined it.

Was the draft a mess, yes. Was it autobiographical, yes. But it made a genuine — and factual — assertion of notability. DS (talk) 15:10, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
