Can a person have multiple full blown strokes and the strokes have no effect on the body? Doctors have concluded that my silent strokes have become full blown strokes but are baffled because medical science says I should experience paralysis or death yet I am not

Migraine Birth Control
Hi, I started Birth Control a week ago, it is a two hormone, 21 day cycle with a week of sugar pills. They said it was a generic BC called try-estyrella. Yesterday I finished a week and tonight I should start the second week, but today I got a migraine with aura, which I have never gotten before. Naturally, I blame it on the BC because that is the only thing that has changed in my life recently, and after doing research I found that BC and aura migraines, increase chance for stroke. Should I keep....

Blacked out for 3 minutes ?
Today I was working out with my fitness trainer who's a good friend. At some point suddenly it seemed like he blacked out and was looking at me and smiling, but was not reactive. This went on for 2-3 minutes and after he seemed to be slower than usual. When I mentioned to him later he did not remember it and didn't want to admit the issue. For the next half hour before I left his consciousness and awareness seemed to be lower than usual. He's 61 and I think is healthy. Could this be serious....

post stroke
my brother, who is 52 yrs old, has had several strokes, and now his whole demeanor is changed. he doesn't seem to have whatever it is that triggers you to take care of your personal hygiene or cleanliness at all, is this something that can be fixed? my family is at their wits end trying to understand what is happening with my brother and now he is answering his room door in the nude and seems to be going further away from normal. any help or advice would be appreciated.

Stopping statins and risk of stroke
My aunt suffered from type 2 diabetes, hypertension and elevated cholesterol. She had a stroke 8 years ago but recovered quite well. She was taking about 6 different medications including statins, diuretics and metformin. She had been taking these medications for 8 years. On the advice of a friend she stopped taking her statins cold turkey. She died of a stroke 5 days later. Could her passing have been caused by not taking statins for only 5 days?

29 and suspect mini strokes
Hi, I'm a concerned man about possible mini strokes. Why am I concerned? 1. In the last 5 years, I've had 2 relatives drop dead from Strokes(albiet both were 50+). 2. I'm black. Yes being black gives you a higher risk. 3. I have the sickle cell trait(not the disease). 4. I have a BMI of 40 5. I have high blood pressure 6. In recent days I've experienced an odd inability to swallow my saliva naturally. I have to make an effort somewhat to swallow my spit. But swallowing food and water....
