- American Academy of Pediatrics Children and Disasters
This website is AAP’s resource site for pediatricians, child care providers, families, schools, and policy makers. This site provides both original and linked content to tools, trainings, and resources for children and emergency preparedness. - AMA Center for Public Health Preparedness and Disaster Response
The AMA Center posts breaking alerts and other links of relevance to medical practitioners. The AMA also publishes the journal, “Disaster Medicine and Public Health Preparedness.” - ">The Emergency Management and Response – Information Sharing and Analysis Center
EMR-ISAC serves as the information sharing mechanism for the collection, research, and dissemination of critical infrastructure protection and emerging threat information for the Emergency Services Sector, including EMS, hospital emergency management, and public health. The EMR-ISAC publishes a short weekly newsletter and manages the Emergency Services community on the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN); subscriptions can be managed through their website. - NACCHO Public Health Preparedness Program
NACCHO’s preparedness work focuses on activities related to both practice and policy. NACCHO creates new tools and improves existing ones to help local health departments enhance their readiness to respond to public health emergencies and other disasters.
