Public Health Preparedness and Response Research to Aid Recovery from Hurricane Sandy Peer-Reviewed Publications Listed by Priority Recovery Research Areas

Funded under the Hurricane Sandy Recovery and Rebuilding Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2013, this grant was funded for two years starting in September 2013. This research grant program represents the first time HHS has provided post-disaster funding on a large scale for research needed by local communities to determine the best ways to prepare for and recover from natural disasters like hurricanes. Hurricane Sandy publications to date are listed below under the priority recovery research areas.
