Mission

The Trust for the National Mall is dedicated to restoring, improving and preserving the National Mall, home to the enduring symbols of our democracy, for present and future generations.

As the official non-profit partner of the National Park Service servicing the National Mall and Memorial Parks, the Trust is the steward of private philanthropy, a thought-leader among key stakeholders and a connector of visitors to the rich history of the National Mall and ways to engage.

• Supporting the National Park Service in bringing to life the National Mall Plan, which will address park use, maintenance, and facilities.

• Raising the necessary funds to maintain and restore the National Mall as a world-class park befitting this great nation, while funding an endowment to ensure the future maintenance and upkeep of the park.

• Connecting visitors to the National Mall's rich history.

• Developing engaging programs and events that will educate and inspire current and future stewards of the National Mall.
