Abraham Lincoln was president of the United States from 1861 to 1865. During his time in office he had 36 judges successfully nominated and confirmed to the federal bench. Lincoln also had 2 nominees decline their nomination, one withdrawn and four rejected or not voted on by the Senate.[1][2]
