The Trust for the National Mall inaugurated the History, Heroes and Hope Award in 2014 to recognize an individual, corporation, or organization that who embodies the visionary spirit and courage exemplified on the National Mall—home to the history, heroes and hope of America. The award is presented at the Trust's annual benefit event.
