University of Derby Research is distinctive and we are proud of our researchers.  Our research is often applied to support the sectors that drive national economic growth, to improve the lives of people locally, nationally and internationally and to support effective policy making and governance.  The University of Derby often works with collaborators from partner institutions and with industry.  We publish our research so that everyone can share our knowledge.  Our researchers support the creation of further knowledge through their work with our postgraduate research student community.  And we use our research to inspire, inform and generate impact for our students at the University of Derby.
