25 great high schools games in 2015-2016
25 GREAT GAMES
Drama. Records. Emotions. Championships.
Those words can be used to describe the list of 25 great high schools games from this past school year I put together.
It was a pretty good year in high school sports, and these 25 games represent some of the best the year had to offer.
I realize I left some very good games out of the mix, but I had to limit this thing to 25. Leave your choice for best games in the comments, and enjoy reliving what was another fine year in Oregon prep sports.

Football: Jesuit outlasts Sheldon 61-55 in double overtime
Jesuit's Jason Talley rumbled 25 yards and ran over Sheldon defenders for the game-winning touchdown in Week 2 of the high school football season to give the Crusaders a 61-55 double-overtime win against Sheldon in Eugene. It was a tremendous offensive display by both teams, but Talley stood the tallest. He rushed for 246 yards and five touchdowns on 36 carries. Sheldon quarterback Justin Herbert carved up the Jesuit secondary for 471 yards and five touchdowns on 26 of 37 passing.

Football: Chris Schramm's field goal lifts Liberty over Wilsonville 40-37
Liberty kicker Chris Schramm buried a 32-yard field goal to lift the Falcons to a 40-37 win over Wilsonville in the first matchup of the season between the Northwest Oregon Conference powerhouses. Wilsonville got the last laugh eventually, earning a 24-21 win in the Class 5A playoffs and advancing to the semifinals, but this game will live on in Liberty lore for quite some time.

Softball: Emily Preble goes yard in 8th inning for 3-2 semifinal win over North Medford
Tied 2-2 in the eighth inning, Jesuit catcher Emily Preble decided enough was enough.
Preble smashed a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth to lift the Crusaders to a 3-2 win over North Medford in the Class 6A softball semifinals. Preble's late-game dramatics opened the door to Jesuit's 9-1 win over Metro League rival Glencoe for the Class 6A title.
