Before she was nominated for an Oscar – four times – Michelle Williams made her screen debut on “Baywatch,” where she appeared twice as two different characters. Jason Momoa got plenty of training for “Aquaman” when he joined the cast of “Baywatch” after it moved locations and became “Baywatch Hawaii” in later seasons. She solves crimes on “Law & Order: Svu” now, but Mariska Hargitay was the one who needed saving when she made an appearance on a Season 1 episode of “Baywatch.” Add Mila Kunis to the list of A-listers whose child acting days included a stint on “Baywatch.” Like Michelle »

The now-viral video of the shove shows Trump putting his hand on Montenegro Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, pushing him aside and stepping around him before adjusting his jacket. “Out of my way… Alpha male coming through,” Colbert joked,”I don’t think that kind of shoving is appropriate for an International Summit. ‘Based on a True Story’ Cannes Review: Roman Polanski Thriller Is Timid and Unsure

The most generous thing you can say about “Based On A True Story”, Roman Polanski’s half-baked almost-thriller that screened out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, is that it goes down easy enough. Banking on the director’s eyes-closed, hands-behind-his-back skill and a game cast of actresses, the film is an enjoyable if not terribly memorable jaunt. But consider the pedigree of cast and crew and make no mistake about it: That fully damns it with faint praise. Polanski might well be the greatest living director of thrillers. Actress Emmanuelle Seigner, the star Polanski of successes like “Frantic” and. »

Fox News Channel’s “The Five” slammed Hillary Clinton’s “bitter” Wellesley College commencement speech on Friday night, fact-checking the former U.S. secretary of state before co-host Greg Gutfeld called her the “textbook definition of a loser.” Co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle reminded viewers that Clinton’s husband, Bill, was the most recent president to be impeached. “Feast on that fact,” she said. “Hillary is just a walking fountain of bitterness. I am starting now to feel sorry for her. Imagine being the quarterback of a losing Super Bowl team that sounds months trashing the winning quarterback,” Gutfeld said. “It’s »

‘Pirates’ Charts Course for $76 Million Memorial Day Weekend

For this Memorial Day weekend’s new releases, the box office returns aren’t quite what Hollywood bean-counters were hoping for. The top film of the weekend, “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” is on pace for a $76.3 million four-day weekend after hauling in $23.4 million from 4,276 screens on Friday. If that total holds, it will be below the $80 million projection target set by both Disney and independent trackers and well below the $90 million 3-day total set by this franchise’s predecessor, “On Stranger’s Tides.” The film failed to get “Pirates” out of the critical hole »

11 Shows That Aren’t About Trump — But Totally Were (Photos)

It’s tough to avoid the current political climate thanks to daily headlines that feel straight out of a reality show. TV series don’t have to address a specific current event, but they can be inspiration for core themes concerning politics, feminism, ideology or any number of things. To put it simply, shows this year talked about President Donald Trump… even if they didn’t do it directly. “Supergirl” The CW show is blunt about its ties to feminism. However, “Supergirl” stepped up its game in Season 2 with not-so-subtle jabs at the Trump presidency and the conversation around it, »

Here’s Why 15 Sean Hannity Advertisers Say They Haven’t Dumped Him

When news broke that several advertisers were withdrawing ads from Sean Hannity’s show this week, many in the media world wondered whether the Fox News host was headed for a Bill O’Reilly repeat. In April, O’Reilly, then the network’s most visible talent, was fired by Fox when advertisers fled his primetime show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” en masse after a sexual harassment scandal involving multiple reported victims became public. Hannity hasn’t been accused of sexual harassment, but he provoked a backlash this week over his continued peddling of a right-wing conspiracy theory surrounding the murder »

A Federal Court Just Called Trump a Bigot

Judges don’t usually write opinions personally attacking the integrity of the president of the United States. But in a highly unusually decision this week, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit rebuked President Trump personally, ruling that he wrote a bigoted Muslim ban that was not in “good faith” and violates the First Amendment. The court, in a 10-3 decision, began its first paragraph saying that Trump’s executive order “drips with religious intolerance, animus, and discrimination” towards Muslims.
