NBC is cleaning house on Sunday nights. They'll surely cancel American Dream Builders, they've cancelled Believe and they've also cancelled Crisis as well.
An action/thriller series, Crisis finds out what might happen if the children of powerful people from Washington, DC were to be taken prisoner. The cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Rachael Taylor, Lance Gross, James Lafferty, Max Martini, Michael Beach, Stevie Lynn Jones, Halston Sage, Max Schneider, Joshua Erenberg, and Gillian Anderson.
Unfortunately, this show seemed doomed from the start. It debuted to lackluster ratings and the numbers sank lower and lower each week. At one point, Crisis drew just a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.73 million viewers.
On the upside, it seems likely that NBC will release of the remaining episodes. Eight of the 13 episodes have aired so far.

CBS didn't find ratings success with Hostages. Will NBC fare any better with Crisis? Will it be cancelled after one season? We shall see.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- usually the next day, around 11:30am Est/8:30am Pst. Refresh to see the latest.

Crisis could be NBC’s answer to a procedural hit.
Why? The show is backed by a high-caliber cast, some interesting twists, and enough potential storytelling to twist itself into something really explosive. Granted, none of that guarantees any success, but I will admit to being more involved than I expected to be, given the reveals of the first episode. (Let’s be honest: My main reason for tuning in to this show in the first place was my 20+ year love for Gillian Anderson, whom I will watch in anything and everything. So, it’s safe to say I was...

Anyone who's watched the political and personal machinations on "The West Wing" or "House of Cards" -- or watched cable news for half a day -- realizes that the rich and powerful can be just as vulnerable as human beings as anybody else.
We all have our weak points, and when you hit people where it hurts most, they'll give up just about anything to make it stop.
On Sunday, March 16, NBC premieres "Crisis," a 13-episode drama that tracks the moment-to-moment action when mysterious forces snatch the progeny of the powerful, to use as leverage against their parents.
"The machine of the season," says executive producer (with Far Shariat and Phillip Noyce) Rand Ravich to Zap2it, "The machine of the season is, 'What will you do for your child?' So we want to see parents, week after week, being asked the question, 'Will they say yes?' 'Will they say no?...

The New Adventures Of Old Christine alumna Alex Kapp Horner has been tapped as the female lead opposite Christopher Meloni and Connor Buckley in Fox’s untitled Justin Halpern & Patrick Schumacker comedy pilot (aka I Suck At Girls), from Bill Lawrence’s Doozer and Warner Bros TV. Based on Halpern’s book, the single-camera comedy tells the story of a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. It centers on a father, Jack Dunlevy (Meloni), and his teen son Frankie (Buckley). Groundlings alum Horner, repped by TalentWorks and Brillstein Entertainment, plays Jack’s wife Joanne who, after years of deftly raising and running the family, she is going back to law school, leaving her husband as a full-time parent for the first time. Joshua Erenberg (Suburgatory) has landed a young lead in NBC’s drama...

Chicago – “The Green Hornet,” which could have been titled “The Seth Rogen Show,” is an uneven mix between a stroke of comic book genius and a self-righteous attempt at being both comedy and drama. The untidy story is wrapped inside a messy box that’s a portion of what it successfully is and what it should have been.
Rating: 2.5/5.0
Despite some common comic book traps such as a son with daddy issues, the collaboration of director Michel Gondry (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” “Be Kind Rewind” and “The Science of Sleep”) with Seth Rogen (the star, writer and executive producer of “Pineapple Express” and “Superbad” and the star and producer of “The 40-Year-Old Virgin,” “Knocked Up” and “Funny People”) partially pays off. Strong emphasis is placed on the partially.
This film serves as a one-man show for Seth Rogen while Jay Chou as Kato – the real superhero – is constantly underappreciated.
