In 1966, French director François Truffaut made his English-language debut with “Fahrenheit 451,” a dystopian thriller based on Ray Bradbury‘s novel about a man tasked with destroying literature. While the film was received only moderately well by audiences at the time — the New York Times referred to Truffaut’s film as both “dully fashioned and dully played” — its status has been elevated as the novel itself has entered the science-fiction canon.

The Blacklist April Premiere Review: “Dembe” and “Requiem”

2 hours ago | TVovermind.com | See recent TVovermind.com news »

The Blacklist is back, folks, and I can’t decide how I feel. Certain aspects of the show still feel fresh and exciting as they always have, while others feel stale, predictable and anti-climatic. However, at least for these couple of episodes, the good outweighs the bad. The return was exciting, and incorporated all of their best characters (Hooray, Dembe!) in a compelling way. As it went on, the stale pieces of the story fell off into the cracks and the compelling nature of the show took over, turning this premiere into a powerful force to drive the remainder of the season.

Check Out This Action Scene from Rogue One Edited to Music by John Williams

Rogue One proved that you didn’t need the entire Star Wars universe to make a Star Wars film successful.  After it grossed over $1 billion at the box office and earned the respect of critics around the world, it’s no surprise that a Han Solo film is in development and there are talks of a solo Obi-Wan film.  So what made the movie so great? When reading about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story one of my favorite quotes about the film has to do with the music. The folks at /film said it best in an article written yesterday.

Shooter McGavin is far and away one of the best sports movie villains of all-time.  I think anyone who’s ever seen Happy Gilmore would 100% agree with me on this.  But did you know that Shooter has his own Twitter account?  It’s not actually run by actor Chris McDonald whose Twitter account has been dormant for about a year.   This Shooter account has a whopping 308K followers.  It’s not as much as Aaron Rodgers and his 3.11 million followers but it’s enough to get the Packers Qb’s attention. For whatever reason during a very late stretch of evening, these two
