American Gods Posters: Omg! One Month to Go!!!

If you like to read books before watching adaptations, you have 33 days to dig into Neil Gaiman's American Gods before it premieres on Starz Sunday, April 30th.

An unwitting ex-con grappling with the death of his ex-wife takes up with a con-man named Mr. Wednesday. That's where the story begins. It continues with a struggle between the old gods and the new as they fight for their place in the life of modern day America.

Even if you think you might not be interested in the type of storytelling coming by way of American Gods (and it's hard to believe that), hasn't the cast alone already won you over?

If it hadn't before now, just take a look at the character posters below, and say it with us Omg! One Month to Go!!!

The story of American Gods is everything this tease suggests, and in the hands of showrunner Bryan Fuller, »

Jane the Virgin Season 3 Episode 15 Review: Chapter Fifty-Nine

Love, dating, and (frankly) some horniness took center stage in the midst of romantic changes.

On Jane the Virgin Season 3 Episode 15, Jane dipped her toe back into the dating pool, but her time away from romance left her feeling a little rusty.

It's been a few years for Jane since she opened her heart, but the end of this installment tells me maybe that's not where she's meant to be focused right now. Elsewhere in the episode, Xo and Rogelio finally reunited, and Rafael got a glowing heart for Petra.

Dating is all about reading and interpreting signals, but Jane's radar was way off course. She felt confident and sure she was exuding an aura, drawing men in left and right.

I adored the difference between what Jane thought she was experiencing versus reality. It's important to have confidence, but awareness is also crucial.

Humans: Renewed for Season 3 at AMC!!

Synths and humans aren't all that different.

At least that's one of the things we learned by watching Humans Season 2, which ended last week after a shocking cliffhanger.

Good news, folks!! Humans Season 3 isn't all that far off.

The co-release between Channel 4 in the UK and AMC is written by Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley and explores what happens when the line between humans and their synthetic counterparts are no longer well drawn.

The world isn't ours, but it could be.

And for those of us who grew up watching shows like The Jetsons and Lost In Space, we thought it would have been here by now.

Alas.

“We’re thrilled to be continuing this story! The Humans audience will know that the end of season 2 changed everything,” showrunners Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley said.

“We can’t wait to bring this new world to life – along with the best cast in TV, »

Bates Motel Season 5 Episode 6 Review: Marion

Well, that was an interesting twist.

Marion Crane took her shower on Bates Motel Season 5 Episode 6, but the ending wasn't quite what we were expecting.

I was okay with it. Were you?

I'm glad that Norman let Marion go because this whole hour wasn't about Marion Crane at all.

Sure, the last couple of episodes were a nice nod to the Alfred Hitchcock's film, but wouldn't we have been disappointed if it happened exactly as it did in the film?

The twist at the end was exactly how it should have ended. Norman and Mother had a formed a new partnership. There needed to be some sort of balance. Norman didn't want to kill beautiful women anymore, but bad men who hurt women? Why not?

Sam Loomis was a bad man. Not only did he cheat on Madeline, who Norman has a huge crush on, but he cheated on Marion too, »

Taken Season 1 Episode 5 Review: A Clockwork Swiss

Nothing is ever as simple as it seems in the world of Taken.

For instance, Christina got blackmailed into recovering sensitive data on Taken Season 1 Episode 5.

That's a risk you take when you're running an off-the-books black-op team. You want none of what you're doing to get out.

Yet, somehow, someone has gotten photos of the Defense Secretary's dead chief of staff who Bryan out took, on Christina's orders, on Taken Season 1 Episode 3.

How? Good question. It seemed like a fairly isolated park. Yet the assistant attorney general had photos of the dead man and Bryan leaving the scene as leverage against Christina.

It's almost a sign there's more crap coming the team's way. For a super-secret squad, an awful lot of people seem to know about them.

Now, you would have thought Christina would have been suspicious right off the bat. After all, this kind of mission is something »

Quantico Season 2 Episode 15 Review: Mockingbird

I don't know about you, but I think Owen would be the better team leader.

On Quantico Season 2 Episode 15, there's still some team drama that gets worked out, but, for the most part, it's all entertaining drama. There aren't any petty high schoolers this time around, thankfully.

Let's start with the good: Owen and Clay's leadership battle.

Clay is in a leadership role, but he recruited most of his team's Farm trainer. Who did Clay think the team was going to report to?

This provides some tension between Owen and Clay. It's fun to watch, mainly because Owen treats Clay as a recruit. I mean Owen's not wrong to do it; Clay needs training.

Everyone going to Owen made sense. He was brought in to whip them into shape, and he did just that. Clay, on the other hand, has been almost like a figurehead. He briefs the team, but that's about it. »

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 17 Review: Distant Sun

Lois Lane killed Hercules!

Well, sort of. Actually Rhea killed her husband, Lar Gand, on Supergirl Season 2 Episode 17, but honestly, who didn't see that coming?

Rhea is crazy, and she's clearly willing to do anything to get her son back.

Well, I guess it is safe to say Mon-El is no longer the Prince of Daxam. Daddy's dead, so that makes him the king. Not that he has any interest in claiming his throne.

So far Rhea's unwilling to kill Mon-El, despite the fact that he is against her. It begs the question: why does she care so much?

Does she really, truly love him and this is her twisted way of showing it? Or is there another motive behind her insistence he returns to Daxam?

I understand that Rhea wants to save her home planet and get things back to the way they were, but why can't she do that herself? »

Arrow Shocker: Katie Cassidy Returns... as Who?!?

Arrow is not quite done with Katie Cassidy

The former series regular was written out during Arrow Season 4 after Laurel Lance was killed off in a twist that was revealed weeks before her final episode aired.

Cassidy previously signed a series regular deal that spanned The CW's DC superhero universe, but she has only appeared on three episodes as part of that deal so far.

Shockingly, it has now been confirmed the actress will stage a return as Black Siren in the final two episodes of Arrow Season 5, and as a full-blown regular for Arrow Season 6.

Marc Guggenheim had nothing but positive things to say about Katie Cassidy in the casting announcement.

“One of the things that most excites us about Arrow is that we go where the story takes us. Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, »

Time After Time Season 1 Episode 5 Review: Picture Fades

So Time After Time Season 1 Episode 5 gives us some hints that Stevenson isn't as stone cold as he has seemed to be so far.

This presents some interesting possibilities but may backfire as his villainy is really the sole driving factor in this show.

Having used the time machine to escape to Paris 1918 in order to find the son he never knew he had, he immediately killed a man for his clothes and money. Well, they've never claimed he's anything other than efficient.

Meanwhile, Wells and Jane are proving a really effective team once again as they figure out – via the vast and infinite Internet – what Stevenson's up to in 1918.

Then they go and ruin it with another painful "couple" moment, albeit not without humor when Wells refused to let her come in the time machine because of the danger it would place her in.

Wells: At the risk of sounding. »

Girls Season 6 Episode 7 Review: The Bounce

Elijah reconnects with his dreams, Hannah reconnects with her baby's father, and Marnie reconnects with an inkling of self-awareness on Girls Season 6 Episode 7.

"The Bounce" was enjoyably Elijah-heavy, fulfilling all of my hopes from past reviews that we'd finally see Hannah's Bff get an actual arc to close out Girls Season 6 before the show's final bow.

The primary story followed Elijah's hilarious journey through auditioning for a role in the new musical "White Men Can't Jump" (based on the 1992 movie).

Of course, there isn't a "White Men Can't Jump" musical in real life (yet, anyway), but the potential for hilarity was spot-on with Andrew Rannells having to dribble-dance with basketballs.

It was easily the zaniest the show's ever been – they typically don't do that sort of borderline-slapstick humor, but it made me laugh out loud every time.

Particularly when he hit the other guy in the face with the basketball »
