Everyone is welcome to use the collections and visiting us is simple.

Archive staff can help and advise you and you can find what you need by using the hard copy catalogues which are available in the search room. Before your visit you can also use the online catalogue to find the items you need. You can find us in the Tower Building, Nethergate

When visiting the Archive for the first time, please bring proof of identification. We will then issue you with a reader ticket and explain how you can find and access the items you need.

Material may only be consulted in the Archive and may not be borrowed. However, reprographic services are available.

Please note that some material may be closed if it contains sensitive information or is too fragile to produce safely.

Re-Use of Public Sector Information Regulations
Archive Services (i.e. the part of the University responsible for the management of the University’s archival and special collections) is not part of the University Library and not subject to the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations. However, Archive Services are happy to consider requests for the reuse of information they create, although any such reuse may be chargeable. Please contact archives@dundee.ac.uk with questions or requests for reuse.
