ABC’s upcoming singing competition Sing Your Face Off just got amah-zing thanks to some news from EW with the addition of John Barrowman as host and Debbie Gibson as one of the judges. The series features five celebrities trying to learn to perform the works of different music icons. Okay, that doesn’t sound like a compelling show, but I’ll tune in for Barrowman.

Arrow producer Marc Guggenheim promises TV Guide that the second season will feature two big villains — one who is Dark Archer-inspired and another who will mimic Malcolm Merlyn. See, when you hire John Barrowman to play your villain, you need two characters to fill the gap.

As you would expect, Doctor Who fans have started taking scenes from the series and photoshopping Clara into them. I’m still deciding if this is embracing the revelations of the season finale… or it’s one »

He won three daytime Emmys for overseeing thousands of episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, which follows the rich Californian Forresters family and is the most watched soap opera in the world.

In the wake of Jeanne Cooper‘s death, The Young and the Restless boss Jill Farren Phelps has revealed the fate of the daytime TV icon’s beloved character Katherine Chancellor.

“We will deal with the death of Kay Chancellor” following the previously announced May 28 tribute to Cooper, Phelps shares with TV Guide Magazine. “We’ve already written the show into July, so it will take some time before we can address her departure on air. In the meantime, there will be references in the script that Katherine and her husband Murphy are off somewhere on a trip.”

New York — CBS says "The Young and the Restless" will broadcast a tribute to Jeanne Cooper, the veteran star of the daytime drama who died earlier this week. It is scheduled to air May 28.

The network says cast members, friends and family of the actress will gather next week to tape a celebration of her life. Interviews with Cooper from the show's recent 40th anniversary and clips of her years on the show will also be included.

Cooper, who died Wednesday at 84, played grande dame Katherine Chancellor. She joined the soap six months after its March 1973 debut, staking claim to the title of its longest-tenured cast member.

The role earned her 11 Daytime Emmy nominations and a trophy for best actress in a drama series in 2008. »

Washington, May 9: The 'Young and Restless' star Jeanne Cooper has passed away. He was 84.

Her son the actor Corbin Bernsen wrote on Facebook that she died Wednesday morning in her sleep, Fox News reported.

The family also confirmed the death to CBS, according to a network spokeswoman.

The star was best known for her role as ' Katherine Chancellor' for nearly four decades on the popular show 'The Young and the Restless'

Bernsen tweeted on Apr 12 that his mother faced an 'uphill battle' for an undisclosed illness.

In subsequent days he wrote of her gradual improvement and said that she'd been taken. »

I was going to visit this afternoon, thought I had time. Reminder to self - time is a precious thing," Bernsen wrote. "I too am at peace however.
