'Beauty and the Beast' Review: Much Ado About a Tale That's Still as Old as Time

Beauty and the Beast's tale -- the one being told in the 2017 version -- might not be as old as time, but it is absolutely as old as 1991. Because it is the same movie. Which may seem, like, "Yeah, duh, it's a remake." But this is, at times, shot-for-shot the exact same movie, just with human people now.
This is not a reimagining, as The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland aimed to be, or told from a different Pov, like with Angelina Jolie's Maleficent. But if that makes it sound like I didn't like the movie, I did! I really did! Because I love the animated Beauty and the Beast. It's just something I've noticed with these live-action remakes (reenactments?). It's fun nostalgia to see beloved scenes played out in the flesh, but the bits between end up being a bit snoozy if there are no changes made to what we already know.

Medicinal marijuana has "significantly reduced the stiffness and pain" in his hands, the 76-year-old actor said in a statement, noting, "I have had no negative side effects from this treatment and the alternative would have been to continue taking NSAIDs, Advil, Aleve and Naproxen, which are known to be harsh on the liver and to cause acid reflux."
Why Stewart chose to speak out now has to do with his support for a new Oxford University initiative that will research the medical benefits of marijuana.

Another true crime story is coming to primetime.
The two-hour documentary, Truth and Lies: The Family Manson, airing tonight on ABC, will revisit the brutal murders of Sharon Tate -- who was pregnant at the time -- and five of her friends that took place at her Hollywood home on Aug. 8, 1969, while her husband, Roman Polanski, was out of town. Tate was stabbed 16 times and had an "X" carved into her stomach.

The following evening, Leno and Rosemary Labianca were killed at their home, and the word "war" was carved into Leno's stomach, while "Helter Skelter" was written on the couple's refrigerator in blood.
The documentary will feature never-before-scene interviews with Charles Manson -- who was sent to prison for ordering these murders -- as well as interviews with law enforcement and first responders to the scene of such crimes.

The 34-year-old royal and his wife, Kate Middleton, arrived on Friday, marking the couple's first trip to the French capital since the 1997 death of his mother, Princess Diana.

In January, Chmerkovskiy's fiancee, Peta Murgatroyd, gave birth to a son, Shai, and were happy to take him home. "He was a couple weeks old and we enjoyed that whole week.
