Marshamae, formerly known as ellenmaxwell

I've had a ball talking about film, tv, music, literature, politics and life experiences with the members of this board. We have chatted, shared, fought, made up and gone at it again. This has been a great source of information, smart talk and informed opinion.

To Lucia, telegonus, Mandy, filioscotus, zeldafan, Schultz, Matt, Byrdz, Cheyenne, Linda , Dr Miklos Rossa, Jefferson Cody, jimcat, Old Aussie, big king tut, and so many others , thanks .anyone who would like to stay in touch, feel free to pm me and I will send my email.

It was a toss-up whether I go in for diamonds or sing in the choir. The choir lost.

Re: Please sign the CFB Guestbook

glen_esq here.

Thank you to CFB for all the knowledge you're shared in your posts.

I have learned a great deal from you all, really enjoyed the Yearly Films polls and Fixing the Oscars.

You've led me to many, many films I'd have otherwise not experienced.

Been posting and reading threads here for 15 years, I'm going to miss this place.

Re: Please sign the CFB Guestbook

I'm karmala2 and I have been posting for nearly 11 years. So long friends it's been a great ride.

I feel the separation anxiety kicking in a bit...

I told you a million times not to talk to me when I'm doing my lashes!

The Seven Stages of Grief

1 Shock/Denial
2 Pain & Guilt
3 Anger & Bargaining
4 Depression & Reflection
5 The Upward Turn
6 Reconstruction & Working Through
7 Acceptance & Hope

Hope all of you to get to the 7th stage sooner rather than later.

Thank you all for the film education. We are all richer for the information, freely given.

Re: Please sign the CFB Guestbook

ZolotoyRetriever wishing all a fond farewell and thanks for the good memories as well as many useful and insightful comments about classic films. I will always think of you guys and gals when I watch Turner Classic Movie channel - which, for me nowadays, is most of the time. Take care. 👍

Don't mess with me, man! I know karate, judo, ju-jitsu... and several other Japanese words.

Re: Please sign the CFB Guestbook

Fondest of farewells to one and all--whether we agreed or disagreed, you guys always kept me coming back, and you can't top that.

And where else could I post my obsessions and expect others to listen so patiently? I am going to miss every one of you, and can't imagine where I'm going to be spending morning coffee time now. I can't listen to NPR anymore .

Amyghost, hoping she won't be speaking permanently from beyond the IMDb grave.

Wickedkittiesmom, formerly novalich: I was more of a lurker than a poster but all you guys reminded me of many old films I had forgotten about through the decades and introduced me to films I never saw. Thank you!!!

I will never let you part, for you are always in my heart: MJ
