I'm not clear on your problem with the show. Is it the extent to which context is presented for the reports? Or is it just that you disagree with the political perspective? I suspect the latter, as TRMS consistently leaves me feeling better informed for having watched it. I don't always agree, but I always learn something, and hear an opinion worth evaluating.

accountinggeek2003 - I would venture to guess that MSNBC's ratings are behind FOX because FOX is included in basic cable and MSNBC is not. I love MSNBC but I can't afford that level of cable (or rather refuse to pay huge amounts more just for one channel - it's the principal of the matter.) It's no wonder that about 50% of the population is so stupid and has become brainwashed by FOX. It's the most accessible "news" channel available. I don't know what MSNBC would need to do to get on basic cable but I sure wish they would do it!!!! The Rachel Maddow show is great! She brings a clear perspective to everything she presents. I always thought, "if only conservatives would watch her show, they would WAKE UP! because she so obviously makes sense and how could anyone argue with her logic, reasoning, and facts. I guess I'm wrong. Some people are just too stupid.

TRMS is wonderful. She amazingly smart and I appreciate that she finds stories to report that no one else would touch. Keep up the good work, Rachel!
