As an ideal candidate, you have a deep understanding of research methods and best practices. You are a passionate, curious researcher with acute observational and analytical skills. You are able to work with minimal direction while delivering high-quality outputs. You will design and conduct research activities which inform concepts and design directions and ultimately improve the end user experience.

Key job responsibilities
· Own and drive end-to-end user research studies across multiple product verticals which result in impactful customer experience enhancements.
· Work closely with multiple teams to identify and prioritize research questions based on analysis of current knowledge, project goals and risks.
· Identify best method or mix of methods based on research questions, timeline and resourcing.
· Perform quick but thorough data analysis in order to create insightful and actionable findings.
· Present findings and results to senior management.
· Build a research roadmap; communicate and refresh on regular basis to ensure relevancy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 7+ years of proven success leading user research projects with demonstrated impact
· BS or equivalent degree in human computer interaction, cognitive psychology, cognitive science or similar
· Experience in managing vendors and partners domestically
· End-to-end hands on experience with all aspects of research (field research, study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
· Experience testing on a variety of devices, including mobile and desktop
· Ability to deliver high-quality work on schedule, including quickly turning around study plans and reports under aggressive deadlines
· Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and to key stakeholders in the organization
· Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and good business judgment
· Proven history of having worked across cross-functional teams and functions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Advanced in human computer interaction, cognitive psychology, cognitive science or similar
· International research experience, with experience in managing vendors and partners globally
· Self-starter, possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changing environment and ambiguous situations
· Passion for customer experience combined with business knowledge and a strategic viewpoint
