He is known for his work on Funny Face (1957), Superstar: The Life and Times of Andy Warhol (1990) and Scratch the Surface (1997). He was married to Evelyn Franklin and Doe Avedon. He died on October 1, 2004 in San Antonio, Texas, USA.
