MISSION & OBJECTIVE
The Crested Butte Film Festival (CBFF) is an international film festival dedicated to providing an annual forum that celebrates the art of film and the power of storytelling.

Our mission is to inspire and educate our audience through films and discussions that spark creativity, cultural awareness, and personal, social, and environmental change.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Crested Butte Film Festival welcomes you to submit your film to our 2nd Annual festival. Held in the high mountains of Colorado just as the aspens are turning, CBFF showcases the best of American and international cinema in what is known as "America's last great ski town."

Ours is an intimate festival, with all our venues within short walking and biking distance to each other. We seek the best in narrative, documentary, foreign language, social action, outdoor adventure, and children's films. Come discover the Butte, and have an amazing Fall weekend of film. This year's dates are September 27 - 30, 2012.

For more information visit cbfilmfest.org

"CBFF was a joy to attend. It took on big films and big ideas, and was by far the most fluid, easy going festival that I have been to. And it doesn't hurt that CBFF happens to take place during perhaps the most beautiful week of the year in Colorado."

-Eliza Slayman, Film Representative, 'American Outrage', 'From the Ground Up'

ABOUT CRESTED BUTTE FILM FESTIVAL

The Crested Butte Film Festival is really excited for its second year. Last year we screened over 50 films to a combined audience of 1500 during our four day festival. Award-winning films such as Marwencol, Revanche, If A Tree Falls, Fuel, Here and others played to enthusiastic crowds, hungry to see films from the world around them.

Our goal is to bring the best of world cinema home to our mountain town. We’re also excited to discover new films from unknown talents, and, we like to have a good time. Hopefully, you’ve already heard of Crested Butte: the skiing, the mountain biking, the music and arts festivals, the laid back, fun-loving lifestyle. But really, the only thing you need to know about Crested Butte is that everyone who comes to Crested Butte loves Crested Butte. We look forward to you being a part of it.
