Three Early Interest Shrubs

By Plant Hunter, Lark Hanham.

Our peak gardening season tends to be in March and April, when the garden's warming and brightening up. However, it's in the depths of winter when some of the most evocative, exciting and resourceful specimens come to the forefront and thrive. Deciding which winter wonders to grow should be based on several factors: position, space, budget and desired interest. I have shortlisted three of our favourite early-season interest specimens, which will supply continual interest from November to April.
