I was between human and vet med while in high school and most of undergrad. Best advice would be to get yourself into a human clinic to shadow a doctor in a field of interest to see what their daily life is like; same with a veterinarian. I've always loved animals but was on the fence until I went and shadowed both and realized that human doctors, especially specialists, do a lot of the same things every day. Veterinarians are "jacks of all trades" and every day is crazy and different. I liked the variety in regards to problem solving for diagnoses etc, instead of telling old people to stop eating cookies to help lower their cholesterol. Obviously being a human ER doc in a big city would be crazy but it takes a special breed of person to have the drive to become a successful veterinarian. Unfortunately we don't get the same respect despite the same schooling and increased volume of info since we learn everything for multiple species :)

I haven't competed before, but I'm assuming the aerials were for the scores and not so much for the artistic elements of lindy. I choreograph at my university and we only do aerials because the crowd likes them, but we tell people to avoid them when dancing in more real life situations.

I watched the show as every episode aired live. I adored that show, despite how angry it made me at some occasions. The ending was peaceful, but failed to tie up a lot of loose ends that I found necessary. They also went too high up the religious symbolism trail, with alternate realities and purgatory and all that, and the end seemed forced. Though I do give the writers credit, it would be impossible to end that show and not piss someone off.
