Wow! What else can I say? The film starts off strong with great action,acting,and storyline: Stays entertaining throughout; and then has a spectacular ending ; that closes any doubts as to whether or not you liked this film.
The film begins in late 14th century europe during the black plague: stories reach a town of a small village unaffected by the disease. Stories of witchcraft soon follow.
Because this is during the time of the inquisition the catholic church has ordered a group of soldiers to investigate these rumours; A wonderful depiction of the insanity of those times soon follows.
