From spoofs of important literary figures your kids should know about in "Midnight in Paris" to Forrest Gump donning his magic shoes and a City Slicker saving a calf, family movies depend on important, educational messages as much as they do on clean language and content.
This is the list of kids and pre-teen movies that I have watched, either as a kid myself or as an adult but I think would be suitable to be watched by kids. I'm a 90's kid and the experience of movie-watching is one of the most enjoyable experience I had as a kid. That's why I made this list.
This is the list of all kids movies or family movies that I have watched, so some of them are great but some of them are bad. A lot of these are based from my memories as a child though. The list is chronological based on release date. I have included comments for every movie. I hope it's useful.

Question:“What is the point of large lists?” Lists like this have a "Refine list" feature (located in the right hand side of the page), which is a powerful filtering tool. With this tool one can exclude all of the films that one has already "rated"(seen), or that are in the >>>>> "watchlist", or exclude films that have been rated below lets say 6/10 stars, etc. With this list you get the ability to filter the list any way you like... to drill down on the exact content that you are looking for. All filters can be used at the same time, in any combination.

To see my Horror and my Comedy, Action, Drama, Thrillers, Romance, Suspense, Espionage lists, click on 'pumpkin_aps' under the title of this list. This is a list, in no particular order, of kid friendly movies (and some TV) my family has watched. Many are ones that parents might also enjoy watching as family movies. :: In my list comments, I'm mostly trying to give a sense of how a movie rates next to other movies in my list. "Very Good, Good, Pretty Good, Ok" describe, from left to right, movies I liked to movies I didn't like as much, but still liked. Those that I really liked and that I would definitely watch more than once are the ones that I have made the real comments on. They're the ones that I would watch first, if I were to watch them all again. Most movies fall into the Ok or the Pretty Good list, because they were fine to watch and pass the time with.
a list of the 10 craziest family movies i have ever seen. enjoy! :)
This list is not biased nor a fan made... Just have watched them and read some reviews about the best of the best animated movies of all time... If I skipped some pls do leave a comment..tnx
A list of movies that are, in my opinion, worth the watch.
This is especially meant for families, who might have difficulty finding an appropriate movie to share in this current environment. That's why most of the movies in this list are family movies. Still, I can almost guarantee that whoever you are, you'll love most of these.
NOTE: a few of these movies are not family movies, but if you're an adult, are worth watching.
Each description includes my personal rating, a plot summary, and for family-sharing purposes, warnings where necessary.
Movies in blue are appropriate for all ages.
Green is questionable.
Purple is meant for adults.
I'll do my best to add to this list as ideas or suggestions come in.
Enjoy!

My Top 20 movies for the whole family, or basically my favourite movies I grew up with.
This is my personal ranking of the last great animated movies ...from father Disney to the last 3D performances!!! There are no stop-motion movies (Nightmare before Xmas, Coraline, Chicken Run...all wonderful), but i'm not sure for titles like Polar Express or Xmas Carol, are they still animated cartoons?
For japan toons i put only titles from Miyazaki, there are lots of interesting movies but i think they are not for little children...
For the long series i put only the first, some sequels are good (Toy story, Ice age) someone no( Shreck 3)
...enjoy these fantastic "cartoons" with all the family!!!
