Tobey Hollins is caught by the Miami Police Departement and is sent to prison for murder. Horatio has some doubts about Tobey's guilt, since some evidences clearly identify some one else as the murderer. Horatio and his team now try everything to disprove Tobey's guilt. Written by Sab
There's a manhunt underway around one of the marinas. A young black guy, "Tobey Hollins," (Robert Richard) with blood all over him, dashes out of the bushes and is chased and finally caught.
"Capt. Frank Tripp" (Rex Linn) has the young man arrested. The kid confesses, Frank is satisfied, but Horatio, after a quick look-see back at the boat in which a young lady was killed, is not so sure they have the right person in custody.
This is another age-old storyline among the CSI shows. The PC-oriented Jerry Bruckmeier shows tend to lean that way, so you know the black kid is innocent. Then, the investigation is on for the CSI team to see who really did kill this woman aboard a boat and how.
To complicate matters, while in jail, the "Tobey" kills his sadistic cell-mate. And - oh, yes, he's a white guy, of course. In fact, only the white inmates are shown to be beasts to the black kid. The reverse racism of white Liberals in the entertainment business never ends!
Nonetheless, despite the typical bias, it's a decent show and a "thought- provoking" ending
