Wait right there if you don't want to know anything about The Last Jedi and some of the big surprises that it contains. Possible Spoilers ahead! That's the speculation swirling around the sequel this morning as news of a new Han Solo flashback scene starts to make the rounds yet again. We've heard that Harrison Ford may return in this impending sequel before. But Disney and Lucasfilm have never confirmed such a thing. Now, it sounds a little more plausible in the wake of Carrie Fisher's death. That said, this is clearly an unsubstantiated rumor and nothing more.

The news comes from Youtube favorite Mike Zeroh, who has gained a strong following for his Star Wars updates. »

Donnie Darko 3 Planned with Original Director Richard Kelly

Will we finally get Donnie Darko 3, a true sequel to the Jake Gyllenhaal sci-fi classic? Last year, the 2001 thriller Donnie Darko celebrated its 15th Anniversary with a 4K re-release in select U.K. theaters, although it never made it to the U.S. Now that the re-release is available on Blu-ray, writer-director Richard Kelly revealed in a new interview that he does have plans for a true follow-up that will return to this unique universe. While he doesn't offer specifics, the filmmaker explained that it will be even bigger and more ambitious than the original.

"I think there's something much bigger and more ambitious to do in that universe. It's big and expensive and I think there's time to get to that. I want to make sure we've got the budget to do it justice and not to compromise anything. Another story in this world needs resources and we need to have that in place. »

Avatar 2: What We Know

James Cameron hasn't directed a lot of movies over his long, storied and very successful career, but he has made a big impact almost every time he has stepped behind the camera over the years. It is arguable, and inarguable by certain metrics, that he made his biggest impact with 2009's Avatar. The movie was a massive hit in every single way. That being the case, people have wondered why we haven't had a sequel yet? There are reasons for that, but rest assured, Avatar 2 is on the way.

Fox has wanted a sequel to James Cameron's Avatar pretty much since the movie hit theaters, and who could blame them? Avatar grossed an insane, unprecedented $2.78 billion at the worldwide box office, which is truly staggering. Even after movies like Jurassic World, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and a ridiculous amount of very popular superhero movies, Avatar remains the »

Keanu Reeves Has a Short Fuse in New John Wick 2 Poster

Earlier this month, Lionsgate debuted a new John Wick 2 poster that revealed this explosive assassin is "relit," as he takes aim at a new group of villains with the action swinging to Europe. Today we have yet another new poster, which takes advantage of the title, showing John Wick (Keanu Reeves) himself is literally "relit," with the hitman's tie serving as his own short fuse. What will happen when John Wick figuratively explodes? We can certainly expect plenty of carnage, which looks to be even more explosive than the first movie, judging by the recent trailers.

While most of the story is set in Rome, we saw in the first clip released by Lionsgate last week that John Wick is returning to the Continental Hotel, a secretive hang-out for international assassins, where he's greeted by Charon (Lance Reddick), who is surprised to see him back so soon. The clip »

Ghost in the Shell Motion Poster Goes Inside the Digital Mind

Scarlett Johansson is getting ready to reprise her role as Black Widow in Avengers: Infinity War, but before that, she is getting a crack at another action franchise of her own. Even though the filmmakers were accused of whitewashing for casting her, Scarlett Johansson is playing the lead in the new Ghost in the Shell movie, the first ever live-action take on the very popular manga. With the release just a couple of months away, Paramount has debuted a couple of new posters for the movie.

Both of the posters came from the Paramount Twitter account. The first of which features an animated version of Scarlett Johansson's character, The Major, front and center. The movie is most definitely not animated, but this poster seems to be playing into the Ghost in the Shell Manga and anime roots. The second new poster is actually a motion poster that again, has The Major as its focus, »

As of now, there is nothing official on the books, but during a recent interview, Vin Diesel teased that this potential project is something he has actually discussed with Guardians 2 director James Gunn.

Vin Diesel made this revelation while promoting his new action-thriller XXX: The Return of Xander Cage with MTV, with the actor teasing that he thinks this spin-off is actually "inevitable." Even if that is the case, »

There are a lot of upcoming movies planned for Warner Bros. DC Extended Universe, and that means they are going to need a lot of actors and actresses to fill out those casts. Given the number of superhero adventures getting made, it seems like virtually everyone in Hollywood is going to be in one at some point. On that note, it seems like legendary comedian and Monty Python actor John Cleese may be joining the DC Comics movie universe.

The rumors of John Cleese's involvement in a DC movie started a couple of months ago when the Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice account, and DC Photographer Clay Enos both followed him on Twitter. That was a little thin on its own, but now the 77-year-old comedian posted a photo to his Twitter account that adds some more fuel to the fire. The photo, on the surface, seems pretty innocuous, »

Watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Orchestra Score the Soundtrack

25 January 2017 9:07 AM, PST

Director James Gunn has never been shy when it comes to sharing fun tidbits from his movies with fans, and today he gave everyone a special sneak peek at Guardians of the Galaxy 2. The filmmaker share part of a live scoring session with composer Tyler Bates on Facebook. This video was taken at Abbey Road, and is considered to be the first time a scoring session has ever been broadcast live.

The Facebook Live video is just over four minutes long, featuring one of the full songs from the Guardians 2 score. This piece is conducted by Tim Williams. While we don't get any indication of when in the movie this song will be featured, it does sound like quite the dramatic song, so perhaps it could be used during one of the movie's climactic moments. But that's purely speculation at this point. It remains to be seen if the »

Set your alarms Marvel fans, because something, possibly big, is coming tomorrow morning. The problem is, the folks at Marvel don't want to tell us what it is just yet. Box Office Bomb Ben-Hur Left Star Jack Huston Heartbroken

25 January 2017 8:24 AM, PST

Are remakes almost always doomed? Ben-Hur star Jack Huston tends to think so. While Disney had a stellar year at the box office, other studios weren't so lucky. And Paramount suffered one of the biggest casualties when its big budget blockbuster Ben-Hur failed to connect with an audience of any kind, going onto be one of last year's biggest financial disasters. It was an outright bomb. And it broke Huston's heart.

Jack Huston is perhaps best known for his role as Richard Harrow on HBO's hit drama Boardwalk Empire, which ended its run in 2014. Ever since, Huston has been hard at work trying to become one of Hollywood's leading men. He took on the lead role in a remake of The Crow, but the studio behind that movie filed for bankruptcy and he soon departed the fledglinging project. He settled on another remake as his big breakout, with the biblical themedBen-Hur, »

25 January 2017 7:44 AM, PST

Could Darth Vader's Castle on Mustafar make a return to the big screen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi? That's the gist of the latest rumor, and it's one that has been brought up quite often in the wake of Rogue One's release in theaters this past December. The castle is believed to be the one thing that connects Star Wars 8 and the first anthology movie together. Today, we may have a better understanding of its importance not only to the movie, but also to Kylo Ren's team of Jedi Assassins known as the Knights of Ren.

The Knights of Ren remain a complete mystery. While they were introduced in The Force Awakens, not much was said about them. And their name is never spoken on screen. If it weren't for J.J. Abrams talking about the Knights in the press leading up to The Force Awakens release in theaters over a year ago, »
