Director Damien Chazelle's La La Land will dance into a total of 3,000 theaters Friday after scoring 14 Oscar nominations Tuesday, tying with Titanic for the most noms of any film in history.
The Lionsgate musical, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, isn't the only film hoping to spin Oscar nominations into box-office gold in the walk up to the Academy Awards ceremony Feb. 26.
