ARK: Survival Evolved (Game Preview)

This game is very fun to play and I got addicted almost instantly. So now after spending 100's of hours over the past several months progressing through the levels, I have built myself a really nice base, spent hours researching, looking for, capturing then taming those perfect Dino's then bam an update hits in July and wipes out my entire base even though the boundaries were clearly marked by the dev team and I was safe. The only support I received was a long apology and a constant reminder that the game is still in "Early alpha testing phase" so they were not responsible. I took this explanation as a lesson learned and vowed to not take so much precious time away from my family playing it, however, that did not last and I started playing it for hours again, just to recently lose my hard work on some really good Dino's to a glitch where they fall through the map and are gone. The exact same response, we are in early alpha testing, but thanks for playing, please try again. I am done!

Its simple, pvp is for strong players who dont mind losing stuff or nerds without a life who will literally kill everyone to satisfy a god complex. Pve is a complete wash, if you are a Pokémon player who enjoys building a hug box with every dino or pillaring like a noob because you dont like neighbors or like blocking off half the map with dino gates youre good. This game needs new management to fix the flop this is. at first this game only had performance issues now it is a hacked set of servers out of controlle for little kids and lazy nerds to infect and destroy. fix the building system with a ghost overlay to fix the shotty construction, resolve 90% of the lagg, add building space restrictions, put a server cap for players that are new, add pve npc tribes to balance nerd lagg bases, no more dino door walls add actual scale walls, add widgets for better immersion and gaming depth such as skins or parts for indepth building tamming, also add admins and courtesy tutorials. 1☀

This game is by far the greatest survival game i've ever seen! There is multiple flaws though. Pillars everywhere in pve makes it impossible to enjoy non pvp oriented servers. Building on drops or obelisks; IT shouldn't be a hassle for wildcard to add something that prevents players from building on these obstructs! I literally struggle every darn day trying to find a server to import on just because the largest tribes fear of being whiped. I cannot stress that enough, I can't enjoy the game because of the paranoid alphas....and don't say "play singleplayer bruh" WHEN I SPENT MONEY ON THE GAME TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER!" I honest to god hope wildcard puts a leash on these alphas so us new players CAN enjoy this amazing game!

I can see that this game is really fun and addicting but its super hard when you first get in the game everyone kills you before you can do anything and makes it really frustrating and makes you not want to play.

The game is overflowing with things to do and there are countless fun times to be had with it. however i personally wish there was a server wipe every 8 months so that new players had a chance to get a foothold for themselves and overall the download a survivor feature should be just out in the open without much hassle to get that character on any server you want. sure that kinda sucks for people who grind out on ARK and get big forts going...but honestly it sucks more for new players to have to put up with the crowded PVE servers they can do nothing about, and the "HELP THIS DUDE WANTS TO KILL ME!" attitude in PVP. pretty much anyone who played the game everyday WILL destroy you or play white knight savior to crying people who are in a PVP server. apart from the few glitches there are and the amount of time it takes to get anywhere with the game plus the lag issues...it's ok. taming can fun and challenging low level PVP is a blast and the game isn't boring. it's a solid game for sure.

I love everything about it. I just wish there was a variety of maps that aren't DLC.

the game is very very addicting. i have 78+ days logged. it is very hard to get on to a PvP/PvE server and to survive let alone a PvP or a PvE server alphas run everything. if you don't know someone or know someone who knows some one you will have a snake dropped in your base every twenty minutes. or if you're playing PvP you will just get raided every day to ever week. the game needs to implament an offline raid prevention to prevent the trolls and alpha trolls from picking on the little people. and every alpha is dug in to deep. the game needs a total wipe to make it fair for everyone.

i like the regular ark and scorched earth but the expansions are too much money ark is really good game but 20 dollars just for a little expansion thats way too much and all it includes is new engrams,animals,and a new environment if you want me to spend 20 dollars on those 3 things you must be crazy i would buy it if there were more activities

I personality like th realism and graphics. Your surrondings look very natural. Once, i tried the trail and found it took 6 days to download (it is a very large file) but u only got 1 hour to play. Overall it is a great game!
